Having recently looked at completed residential developments in Bondi Junction, this week we delve into projects currently in the planning stage.
In contrast to the majority of development underway in Bondi Junction, a low rise development at 111-113 Bondi Road is forecast to provide 10 residences once completed.
However, we will continue to witness high rise, high-density offerings in the Junction.
Capital Bluestone currently has a 13 storey high rise with 124 residences in the planning stages. The development will span several shopfronts from the corner of Gray Street and Bronte Road, from the travel agent to the locksmith.
Coonara Developments are proposing a 21 floor development comprising of 106 residences at 47-55 Grafton Street, just down the road from the Bondi Junction train station.
Lindsay Bennelong Developments recently commenced the Whitton Lane project at 87-99 Oxford Street, comprising approximately 129 Dwellings.
Cottee Parker Architects are planning two new developments on 59-79 Grafton Street and 105 Wellington Street.
For many of these developments, the approval and completion dates have not been confirmed. What is does confirm is ongoing building works and an increase in the amount of real estate product available in Bondi Junction.
